She is survived by: her husband David Buchanan; her children, Malcolm (Ashley), Mark (Aimme) and Christina Smallman (Adam); her grandchildren, Dontay, Carlie, Griffin, Brielle and Max; her siblings, Peggy MacIntyre (Kevin) and Grand River; her parents-in-law, Malcolm, Aleta Buchanan and Unionvale; and her siblings-in-law, Norman Buchanan (Lana Biggar) and Angela Adams (Glenn).
