He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Smith and Birdie Smith (MacWilliams); his siblings, Roy, Walter and Hazel Dumville; and his father-in-law Clayton Carruthers (Ferne).
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Smith (Carruthers); his child Terry; his siblings, Debbie Dumville (Garnett), Lloyd Smith (Janet), Francis Smith, Barbara Smith, Stephen Smith and Lorna Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Smith, Elmer Dumville, David MacMillan (Eileen), Wayne and Carruthers.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel (351 Main St, O'Leary, PE C0B1V0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
