He was predeceased by: his parents, Avard Jelley and Dorothy Jelley (Ellis); his grandson Jamie Getson; his siblings-in-law, Darlene Coughlin, Lorne, Harry, Raymond and Carfield Coughlin; and his uncle Robert Ellis.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Blake (Theresa), Kay Getson (Billy), Kildare Capes, Crystal Elliott (Jerry), Boyd of Alliston, ON and Brian (Mary); and his siblings-in-law, Pauline Hardy (Donald), Montrose, Donna Coughlin, Karen Coughlin of Barrie, ON, Dean Coughlin (Heather) of Toronto, ON and Mary Coughlin. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
