She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Gaudin and Annie Gaudin (Perry); her former husbands, Justin McCarthy and Oscar T. Gallant; her daughters, Stella Gallant and Peggy Ellsworth; her stepchildren, Irene Ellis (Garfield), Reg McCarthy, Joe McCarthy and Betty Potter; her grandchildren, Francis and Steven; and her siblings, Yvonne, Jardine, Frank, Crawford and Gus.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Bernard (Pat) of Hamilton, ON, Charlie McCarthy (Helen) of Campbellton, Sandra Wood (Alan Jay), Mary Perry (Eric) and St Louis; her stepchildren, Hazel Richards of Alberton, Jean Clements (Clarence) of Campbellton, David Gallant (Linda), Felicia Gallant, Rene Gallant, Denis Gallant (Mary), Paula Baglole (Clark) and Mark Gallant (Dianne); her children-in-law, Morgan Ellsworth and Rosalee McCarthy; and her siblings, Rosie Wilson of Ottawa, ON and Theresa Massy (Bert). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
