He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Oakes and Erma Oakes. He is survived by: his sons, Jeremy (Rebecca) and Nicholas (Kyla); his grandchildren, Charlea, Leo and Noah; and his siblings, Wayne (Linda) of Governor's Plate, Faye Weeks (Donald), Joyce McPhee and Darlene. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
