Shawn Hartlen Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shawn Hartlen of Murray River, Prince Edward Island, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 5, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Elsie Hartlen (Harnish); and his father-in-law Cyril MacKinnon. He is survived by: his spouse Dreea MacKinnon; his father Paul Hartlen; his children, Gabe, Cohen and Finley; his siblings, Paul (Jenn), Shelley (Gary) and Nickie (Jeremy); his brother-in-law Chris (Steph); his mother-in-law Dianne MacKinnon; and his nieces and nephews, Cole, Cody, Christian, Cameron, Brady, Holden, Riley and Myla. He is also survived by Aunts, uncles, cousins and so many amazing friends who were like his family.
