He is survived by: his wife Esther Penny (MacLeod); his children, Cindy Vanneste (Rick), Paul Penny (Teresa) and Donna Penny (Max Young); his grandchildren, Afton Murphy (Chad), Patrick Vanneste, Chris Penny and Taylor MacNeill (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Neala Murphy, Xander Murphy and Grace MacNeil; and his siblings, Roy Penny (Phyllis), Clara MacQuarrie (David) and Cora Johnston (Ronald).
