He was predeceased by: his mother Florence Elizabeth "Bessie" Dennis; and his siblings-in-law, Terry, Reg, Bruce Affleck and Geraldine McQuaid.

He is survived by: his wife Bertha; his children, Marianne (Travis) and John (Shelby); and his siblings-in-law, Joe (Dotty), Mary (Terry Day), Fred (Donna), Earl (Mary), Donald (Janet), Pauline (Peter Hagar), Mae Affleck, Terri Gallant, Betty Affleck and Austin McQuaid.
