She was predeceased by: her husband Chester MacDonald; her parents, John Laybolt (Jack) and Evelyn Laybolt (Nolan); her sisters, Bernice O'Brien (late Donald), Louise Anderson and Christine MacDonald; her daughter Paula Wilson; and her sons-in-law, Joey Wilson, Ike Hendricken and Gerard Deagle.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie MacDonald (Christine), Jo-anne Nelson (Bruce), Anne-Marie MacDonald (Gary MacKenzie), Kenny MacDonald (Mariville Ora) and Donna Deagle; her siblings, Loretta MacDonald (Wayne MacDonald), Gerry Laybolt (Gloria) and Venilda MacFarlane (Richard); and her close friend Bernadette Gallant. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 ½ great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the PEI Cancer Treatment Centre or Provincial Palliative Care Centre.
