It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zita Marion (Rooney) Boudreault (Montague, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on August 10, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Orwell and Marie Rooney Orwell; and her siblings, Wilbert Rooney (Faye), Gerald Rooney (Flo), Julian Rooney (Teresa), Leroy Rooney, Doris McCarey (Ernie) and Celie Dalziel (Jack).
She is survived by: her husband George Boudreault; her son Danny Boudreault; her daughter-in-law Sheila Boudreault (Molloy); her children, Len Boudreault Ottawa (Cathy), Duke, Yvonne Higgins Montague, Mike and Linda Boudreault Montague; her daughter-in-law Pam Boudreault; her siblings, Laurena Coughlin (Bill), Marie Harris (Tom), Eileen Atkinson (Ken) and Joe Rooney; her grandchildren, Marc Boudreault (Rachael), Colin Boudreault, Emily Boudreault (Matt), Paul Boudreault, Jason Higgins (Brenda), Bryan Higgins (Kat), Angela Boudreault (Rory), Bethany Boudreault (Clene) and Krista Sanderson (Kenneth); and her great grandchildren, Angelina, Charlie Boudreault, Azaela, Poppy Rose Boudreault, Leeland, Denali Dion, Abigail, Brayden Higgins, MacKenzie, Alex, Emma Higgins, Shay, Maggie McNaboe, Knox Ferguson and Celie Sanderson.
The last three years, living with vascular dementia and Covid dramatically impacted the quality of Mom's life, but it was an honour and a privilege to be with Mom especially on those days when her memories came floating back.
