It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Matilda (Macdonald) Mackenzie (Montague, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on December 13, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Albert MacDonald; her siblings, Laureta Larrabee (Austin), Ruby MacWilliams (Johnny), Malcolm MacDonald (Isabel), Annalene Strachan (John), Mary McAllister (Alec), Billy MacDonald and Thelma MacTavish (Sinclair); and her siblings-in-law, Edison MacLean, Charles Gillis, Donald MacKenzie (Jean) and Jean Morrison (Hector).
She is survived by: her parent Flora MacDonald (Laura Matheson); her children, Douglas (Cathy), Barbara Ann Gillis (Brian), Billy (Judy), Jeannie Carey (Dan) and Thelma Messer (Danny); her grandchildren, Tandi MacNeil, Mike King, Linda King, Kenny King, Kara Jamieson, Kelson Jamieson, Julia Anne Gillis, Ellen MacDonald (Craig), Matthew Gillis (Kelly), Lindy McQuillan (Pat), Amy Keefe (Rick), Margaret Walsh (Matt), Jeff Carey (Erin), David Carey (Jessica), Melissa Evans (Mike), Bradley Messer (Nathalie) and Courtney Roy (Adam); her siblings, Albert MacDonald (Helen), Lucille MacLean and Edythe Gillis; and her sister-in-law Dottie MacDonald. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Andrew's United Church or the Belfast Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
