It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Matheson (Montague, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on November 8, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Matheson (Singleton); his parents, Daniel Matheson and Minnie Matheson (Moore); and his siblings, Donald Matheson (Don), Emily MacBeth, Edwin Matheson (Ed), Russell Matheson, Johnnie Matheson and Wendell Matheson.
He is survived by: his children, Lorna Singleton (Lester "Sonny" Leeco), Ann Ferguson (Scott), Cindy King, Edith Matheson (Barrie Dixon), Lynn MacRae and George Matheson (Lori). He is also survived by grandchildren; 16 adored great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Belle River Cemetery, Montague Palliative Care and Home Care, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or a Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
