He was predeceased by: his wife Lois MacLean; his parents, Haywood MacLean and Edith MacLean (MacLeod); his son Robert MacLean; and his siblings, Oliver (Hattie Brown), Haywood (Flora Robbins), John (Lily Knox), Angus (Alice Simmonds), Lester (Jane McArthur), Florence Darrach (Alex) and Anna Godsoe (Merrill).
He is survived by: his children, Kevan (Rena), Timothy, Darlene (Kevin Byers) and Bonnie (Steve Young); his daughter-in-law Sheila Anderson Gallant; his brother Arnold (Marge); and his grandchildren, Andrew MacLean, Melissa Cobb, Julie Wallace, Jolene MacCallum, Lauchie MacLean, Lisa Maclean, Shawn Paulin, Ryan MacLean, Melanie MacDonald, Clinton Byers, Meghan Byers, Kayleigh Gower and Kaitlin Young. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
