He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold King and Isobel King (MacKenzie); his brothers, Keith, Kenneth and Everett; his sister-in-law Donna Shaw; and his parents-in-law, Roy and Laura O'Connor (Clow).

He is survived by: his spouse Flo King (O'Connor); his children, Adam King (Kelly) and Leanne Bell (Shawn); his grandchildren, Brooke Robertson, Carter King, Emma, Jack and Evelyn Bell; his siblings, Heather Jenkins (Roy), Beryl Simmons (Norman), Karl King (Corena), Beth Nicholson (Derek), Doug King and Sandy King; his siblings-in-law, Judie King, Sharon Gotell, Cindy King, Lori McCarthy (Paul), David O'Connor (Anita) and Ken Masters; and his aunts, Chris Ellsworth and Mary Cann (Lloyd). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
