He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McAree and Ethel McAree (Trainor); his brother Arthur; his siblings-in-law, Tommy MacDonald, Mary Jo MacDonald and Karen MacDonald; and his niece Sherri Lynn MacDonald.

He is survived by: his wife Bette McAree; his children, Jeanne McAree of Hudson Mass, Darin McAree Lower Montague (Linda Brown), Kent McAree, Megan Clinton Fortune (Morgan), Grampie of Carmie and Remy Clinton; his siblings-in-law, Geraldine MacDonald and Charles D. MacDonald; and his nephew Bradley MacDonald (Iain Harper).

Due to Covid-19 restrictions no public visiting.

St. George's Parish Cemetery Requested Charity St. George's Cemetery Fund of the Alzheimer Society.
