In the sacred silence of farewell, John George is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Jamieson and Mary Jamieson (Jamieson); and his siblings, Helen Galipeau, Roy, Donnie and Claude Jamieson.
He is survived by: his significant other Faye Dort; and his sister Doris Jamieson (Raymond). He is also survived by his many nieces and, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home (40 Wood Islands Rd, Montague, PE C0A1R0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church (1133 Cambridge Rd, Montague, PE C0A1R0).
In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Paul's Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
