He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Helen O'Halloran (Steele); his parents, Ambrose O'Halloran and Margaret O'Halloran (McGuigan); and his siblings, Jack, Martha and Mary.

He is survived by: his children, Karen-Anne and Dr. James (Jo Anne); his siblings, Steve, Mayna, Vera and Ann; his grandchildren, Lauren, James, Christopher, Emma and Everild; and his great grandchildren, Bennett, Sam, Rory, Maeve and Olive. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home (40 Wood Islands Rd, Montague, PE C0A1R0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home Chapel (40 Wood Islands Rd, Montague, PE C0A1R0).
