She was predeceased by: her husband Angus L. MacDonald; her parents, Frank Cook and Bellina Cook; her siblings, Charles Cook and Dorothy Dewar; her son-in-law Darrell Matheson; her parents-in-law, J. Arthur and Mae MacDonald; her siblings-in-law, Ardeth MacDonald and Gordon Wilkie; and her nephew Kenneth Cook.
She is survived by: her children, Lillian Matheson, Lloyd, Kathy, Alan, Joan (Elmer McInnis), Bruce (Lori), Roy, Laura Lee and Shirley; and her siblings-in-law, Roberta Cook, Louise Shockey and Athol Dewar. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
