She was predeceased by: her husband Lewis McHerron; her parents, George Whiteway and Carolyn Whiteway (MacLure); her daughter Sherry Gallaway; her siblings, Fred, Dave, Freeman, Bobby and Isabell MacKinnon; and her siblings-in-law, Finley MacKinnon and Ruth Whiteway.
She is survived by: her children, Hal McHerron (Elaine), Patsy MacLean (Mike), Tracey McHerron and Paula McHerron (Saul Preston); her son-in-law Stephen Gallaway; her grandchildren, Kathy Jane Currie, Lisa McKenna, Nancy MacSwain, Angela Schultz, Robyn Gallaway-Horne, Joshua Gallaway, Kaitlyn Gallaway, Ben Preston and Sam Preston; her great grandchildren, Alexa, Garrett, Owen, Thomas, Nathan, Annabeth, Lexi, Harper, Gus, Jude, Finn, Lewis, Remy, Leo and Miles; and her sisters-in-law, Donna Bryanton (Craig) and Elva Whiteway. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home Chapel (40 Wood Islands Rd, Montague, PE C0A1R0).
