He was predeceased by: his father Norman Hambly; his brother George Hambly; and his brothers-in-law, Rick Edgett and Francis Stevenson. He is survived by: his mother Matilda Hambly (Morrison); his siblings, Ross Hambly (Shannon), Norma MacDonald, Matilda Gallant (Mark), Earl Hambly (Cheryl), Jane Watts (Parnell), Katherine Constable (Ian), Nancy Myers (Kenneth), Brenda Hambly, Lauralee O'Halloran, Sharon Pineau (Paul) and Clarice Schwab (Hans); and his sister-in-law June Bishop (Terry).
Donations in memory of James, to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
