He was predeceased by: his parents, James Duncan and Jane Duncan (Giles); and his siblings, Jean MacDonald, Olive Duncan, Viola Hakkon, Carl Ellsworth, Dan Ward, Gordon Duncan, Walter Duncan and Sadie Greenshields No.

He is survived by: his wife Eva Gladys Duncan (Acorn); and his children, Ian Duncan, Margaret Duncan, Robert Duncan, Tracy Lynn Duncan (Simeon Aisvak), Mark Duncan and Jason Duncan. He is also survived by grandchildren; nine adored great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
