It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriet (Walsh) Elizabeth Hughes (Montague, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on March 13, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Edmund Walsh; her spouse Harold "Harry" Joseph Hughes; her brothers, Billy Walsh, Alfred Walsh and John Walsh; and her granddaughter Patricia Sullivan.
She is survived by: her parent Alice Walsh (MacLean); her children, Alice Sullivan, Joseph P., Ann Dewar (Blair), Ivan (Adilina), Joan, Eugene (Christina), George (Debby), Palma Campbell (Mike), Parnell (Lorraine) and John Allan (Elizabeth); her children-in-law, Rosemary O'Malley-Keyes, George Sullivan and Donald Johnston; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Kinch Walsh, Evelyn Murray Walsh and John Reginald "Reggie" Hughes. She is also survived by grandchildren; 19 adored great grandchildren.
