She was predeceased by: her husband Preston Dewar; her parents, Hardy C. Dingwell and Margaret Dingwell; her son Arnold Alexander Dewar; her parents-in-law, Hazel Ruth MacNeill Dewar and Henry Ward Beecher Dewar; and her siblings-in-law, Dr. Vera Dewar, Flora Dewar, Francis Ruth Dewar and Abner Dewar.
She is survived by: her son Blair Arthur Dewar; her siblings, Eddie Dingwell, Dennis Dingwell (Cindy) and Betty Ann Gallant; and her brother-in-law Dr. Charles Dewar. She is also survived by cousins and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home (40 Wood Islands Rd, Montague, PE C0A1R0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Montague Christian Church (513 Rte 4, Montague, PE C0A1R0). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at the Brudenell Cemetery.
