It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Daniel Matheson (Montague, Prince Edward Island), born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Hillary Dawn; and his father-in-law Joe McCabe. He is survived by: his wife Lori Matheson (McCabe); his children, Taylor Clarke (Keith), Olivia Matheson, Abby Matheson and Noah McCabe (Tashany); his pet Bailey; his mother-in-law Miriam McCabe; his sisters, Lorna Singleton, Ann Ferguson (Scott), Cindy King, Edith Matheson (Barrie Dixon) and Lynn Matheson; his siblings-in-law, Jerry (Anita), Maureen (Randy), Anne (Mike) and Claire; his grandchildren, Colton Clarke, Stella Clarke, Ellie McCabe, Adya McCabe and Ashlynn Coles; and his aunt Beth Darrach. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home (40 Wood Islands Rd, Montague, PE C0A1R0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
