He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry MacKay and Margaret MacKay (Wilson); his stepson Paul Robb; his siblings, Basil MacKay, Allison MacKay and Edith Townsend (Fred); and his sister-in-law Barbara MacKay.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie MacKay (Semple); his siblings, Doug MacKay (Linda), Joyce Craig (Leigh), Wayne MacKay (Wendy) and Keith MacKay (Treena); and his sister-in-law Nancy MacKay. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
