He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Mahar (Gosbee); his parents, Edward Mahar and Pearl Mahar (Sorrie); his siblings, Theresa O'Connor (George), Gladys Jamieson (Percy), Doreen Boudreau (Eric), Francis Mahar, Lawrence Mahar and Oscar Mahar; and his brother-in-law Brian MacBeth.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna Myers (Michael); his sister Beverley MacBeth; and his sisters-in-law, Loraine Mahar and Peggy Mahar. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
