He was predeceased by: his parents, Vadim Tawaststjerna and Dolly Elisabet Tawaststjerna (Stahlberg); and his granddaughter Olivia. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Tawaststjerna (Clayton); his children, Leonard Tawaststjerna, Gregory Tawaststjerna, Anna Hogarth, David Tawaststjerna, Sonja Banks and Alexander Tawaststjerna; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Kevin, D'Arcy, Chloe, John Conrad, George, Sean, Griffin, Thomas, Katie, Samantha and Eve.
