She was predeceased by: her parents, Hersey Carver and Esther Carver (Campbell); her spouse Clair Roy Smith; her daughter Tracey Leigh Smith; her siblings, Jean Smith, Shirley MacLeod, Frances Buchanan and Preston Carver; and her siblings-in-law, Eric Adams, Jack Arbing, Jim Smith, Gerald MacLeod, Victor Buchanan, Inez Jelley (Ray), Betty MacDougall (Lloyd) and Kay Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer (Smith) and Martell (Tim) of Princeton, NJ; her grandson Keegan Martell of Victoria, BC.; and her siblings-in-law, Vance Smith (Teresa), Barry Smith (Judy), Glenn Arbing, Sandra Adams and Margie Carver. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to consider a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Prince Edward Island, the Bloomfield United Cemetery or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of PEI.
