He was predeceased by: his sibling Corrie; his parents, Gysberta and Gysbertus; his siblings-in-law, Lyda Honkoop and Ken Schuster; and also, Karin Honkoop, Bernice Schuster, Doreen Hostyn, Lorraine Hostyn, Louis Gratton, Robert Hostyn, Louis Hostyn and Bill Hostyn.
He is survived by: his spouse Diane; his children, Carolyn MacPhee (Peter), Ron (Brenda) and Bob (Tanya); his grandchildren, Jacob MacPhee, Anthonie Honkoop and Annie Honkoop; and his siblings, Agnes (Joop), Riet (Wim), Agaath, Wim (late Karin), Joke (Jan), Bep (Theo), Harry, Albert and Jos (Tinie).
