He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan MacPhee and Mary MacPhee (MacLean); his former wife Ruth MacPhee (Murphy); his son-in-law Tony Carter; his siblings, Albert, George MacPhee and Balbina MacDonald; and his siblings-in-law, George MacDonald Gerard Johnston and Sandy MacPhee.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia (Costain); his children, Richard MacPhee (Rhoda), Brenda MacLean (David) and Helen Carter Wilma Ramsay (Don); his stepchildren, Shirley Rice (Michael) and Wayne Ramsay; his grandchildren, Mitchell, Emma (Cole), Cassie, Ewen, Melissa, Curtis, Danielle, Morganne and Sage; and his siblings, Mary Ann Johnston (Larry), Jacqueline MacDonald (Lowell), Brendon MacPhee and Allana Johnston (Joey).
