He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Murray and Bessie Murray (Bridges); and his grandchildren, Micah and Malachi. He is survived by: his children, Trenna Burke (John), Darlington, Rachel Silliker (Warren) and Cascumpec; his stepchildren, Gregory Bridges, Benjamin Bridges and Shannon Teiko (Jeffery) of Stoney Creek, ON.; his grandchildren, Coady (Emily), Alyssa, Samantha (Michael), Alyson, Colby, Courtney, Cole, Abigail, Wesley and Emmett; his great grandchildren, Cooper and Karmyn; his brother Paul Murray (Darlene); his nephews, Scott (Crystal), Matthew and Rodney; his aunt Leona Rayner; his uncle Henry Bridges; and his pet Hemi.
