She was predeceased by: her husband Emmett; her daughter Mary Catherine; her brothers, Louis and Joseph; her parents, Walter Murtagh and Catherine Murtagh (White); and her stepmother Elizabeth Brennan.
She is survived by: her children, George (Karen) of Lower Sackville, David of Charlottetown, Robert (Joy), Newton and Raymond. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Memorial donations in Mary's memory may be made to St. Malachy's Cemetery Fund.
