She was predeceased by: her parent Wendall McKenna; her husband Ellsworth Bassett; her sister Vivian McKenna; her granddaughter Carla Craig; her niece Charlene Mulligan; and also, Mary Mulligan, Linus Mulligan, Teresa Murphy, Frank McKenna, Florence Walchuk, Stan Walchuk, Margaret McAvinn, Ollie McAvinn, Kathleen Monaghan, Ambrose Monaghan, Aeneas Bassett, Lorraine Bassett and Phyllis McKenna.
She is survived by: her parent Mary Ann McKenna; her children, Vivian (David Johnson), Marlene (Garry Burke), Wendall (Paulette), Rita (Ian MacLure), Ann (Jack DesRoches), David (Jane) and Deanna (John Greenan); her sister Elizabeth Peters; and her brother-in-law Charlie Murphy. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
