He was predeceased by: his parents, John MacKenzie and Sadie MacKenzie (Stewart); and his siblings, Elizabeth, Minerva and Danny.
He is survived by: his wife Dale; his children, Karen (Paul), John (Tanya), Earl (Tammy), Linda and Patricia; and his siblings, George, Betty McKenna (Wayne), Christina and Sadie (Carter). He is also survived by five grandaughters and seven great grandchildren.
