He was predeceased by: his sister Brenda Montgomery (Robert). He is survived by: his wife Laura Pidgeon (Bell); his children, Randy Canning (Pam), Peter Pidgeon (Colleen), Tracy Pidgeon (Tom MacCaull), Olive Beairsto (Greg) and Laurie Blackett (Neil); and his siblings, Evelyn Woodside (late Wayne), Ruth, Clair Sudsbury, Hilda Johnstone (late Dale) and Lorne Pidgeon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
