It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Snelgrove (Kensington, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bill MacNeill, Bill Knowles, Anna McGrath (George), Ida Hale (Geordie) and Clifford Snelgrove (Lorraine).
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Snelgrove, Rev. Albert Snelgrove (Wandlyn) and Major Sterling Snelgrove; his grandchildren, David, Alexandra, James, Patrick and Matthew; his stepchildren, Atwood Blakeney (Susan), Willard Blakeney (Alice) and Ron Blakeney (Carolyn); his stepgrandchildren, Jason Blakeney (Lorraine), Kevin Blakeney (Carla), Michael Blakeney (Lisa), Shirley Ann Muncey (Steve) and Krista Blakeney-Isenor (Alex); and his siblings, Florence, Jean Muir (Harry) and Muriel MacDonald (Herbert). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, no public visitation will be held.
