It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vernon H. Stetson (Kensington, Prince Edward Island), born in Freetown, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Claude, Alvin Stetson (Fausta) and Marion Allen (Everett); and his siblings-in-law, Myrna Clarke, Linus Heffell (Ferne), Waldron Heffel, Wesley Heffel and Ralph Hardy.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Stetson (Heffel); his children, Beverley Semple, Carlene Ricketts (Carson), Garland Stetson (Joanne) and Grant Stetson (Tracy); his grandchildren, Leigh Semple, Paige Ricketts, Candace MacAdam, Sarah Stetson, Jesse Stetson, Leah Collins, Emma Stetson, Andrew Stetson and Spencer Stetson; his great grandchildren, Lukas Stetson, Grayson, Addison MacAdam, Hunter Semple, Peyton and Collins; and his siblings-in-law, Agnes Hardy, Mary Day (Eric), Eileen Heffel Taylor, Joyce Heffel and Doug Clarke (Marg). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
