He was predeceased by: his father Owen MacGougan of Malpeque; and his brother-in-law Paul MacLean. He is survived by: his mother Olive MacGougan; his daughters, Holly Lo (Kevin) of Seattle, Washington and Lisa Golden (Rick) of Rothesay; his grandchildren, William Golden, Hanlin and Jinya Lo; his siblings, Karyn MacLean and Dean MacGougan; his nieces, Amber McNally (Sean) and Anne MacGougan; his nephew Shane Phillips; and his daughter Retiring.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Grand Manan Whale and Seabird Research Station and pflag Canada to the upcoming PEI Chapter.
