She was predeceased by: her parents, James Duncan Johnston and Harriet "Hattie" Iva Johnston (Mountain); and her brother-in-law Hubert Marinus. She is survived by: her husband John Sandilands; her siblings, Valerie Greenlaw, Gwen MacNeill (Ron) and James Johnston (Mary); her children, Wade Sandilands, Hali Moore (Mark) and Tyler Sandilands (Angelina); and her grandchildren, Aidan, Victoria Moore, Adam and Lauren Sandilands. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A donation to the Prince County Hospital Foundation in her honour as an alternative to flowers would be appreciated.
