He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Smith and Elizabeth Smith (Stanbridge); and his siblings-in-law, Lleu Champion and Pauline Doull. He is survived by: his wife Janet Smith (Caseley); his sister Peggy Champion; his brother-in-law Blair Caseley (Ardene); his nieces and nephews, Robert Champion, James Champion, Heather Mambella, Trent Caseley, Kim Arsenault and David Doull; and his close friend Rosa Migliazza.
