Laura Pearl Paynter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laura Pearl Paynter (Kensington, Prince Edward Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Ramsay and Gladys Ramsay (Brooks); her husband James Paynter; her sister Elizabeth Hogg; and her brothers-in-law, Herman Ramsay, Lloyd Ramsay, Claire Hogg, Myron Paynter and Hilton Bryanton.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Stright (Bill), Pictou, Karen Deagle, Souris West, Sandra Derby (Paul) and Cole Harbour; her grandchildren, Josh (Emily), Tyler Stright (Alicia), Nick (Bianca), Katie, Nathan Deagle, Sarah and Kaylee Derby; her great grandchildren, Aliviah, Luke and Lucy; her siblings, Irene Ramsay, John Arthur Ramsay (Ann) and Marilyn Ramsay (John Pineau); and her sisters-in-law, Anna Johnstone and Kaye Paynter.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Summerside Presbyterian Church (130 Victoria Rd, Summerside, PE C1N2G5). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
