It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of June Dunning of Kensington, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on November 9, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel M. Burt and Annie E. Burt (Champion); her spouse Francis Dunning; her son Otto Dunning (Brenda); her sibling-in-law Rona Burt; her close friend Stan Buchanan; her siblings, Norma Crossman (Weldon), Ruth (Frederick), Folland, Enid Chappell (Gerard Sherren), Colin Burt (Jean Sherren-Burt), Ralph Burt, Elmer Burt, Don Burt (Elaine), Edythe Burt and Charles Burt; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Walsh, Grace MacLeod, Velda Moreash, Joseph, James, Ernest, Daniel and Otto Dunning.
She is survived by: her children, Rena Simmonds (late Everett), Marlene Jollimore (Leith) and Terry (Cindy Foy); her grandchildren, Michael Dunning (Tina), Krista Murphy (Bob), Jason Simmonds (Sheila), Ryan Simmonds and Courtney Jollimore; her great grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew, Sarah Beth, Davison and A. J.; and her sisters, Helen MacDonald (late Ronald) and Lillian Warren (Clayton). She is also survived by numerous nieces and, nephews.
