He was predeceased by: his parents, James Griffin and Margaret Griffin Mullen; his stepfather Irwin Mullen; his sisters, Mary Curtis (Ray Beaton) and Rose Saville; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Curtis, Edward Power, George Murphy, George Saville and Shirley Griffin.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Griffin (Best); his siblings, Loyola, Kevin (Diane), Gerard (Linda), Charles (Linda), Thelma Gallant (Edward), Dolores Griffin (Robert Beamish) and Rita Stanley (Garth); his mother-in-law Ruth Best; his siblings-in-law, Debbie Walsh (George), Anna McNaughton (Mike Dudra), Donna Best, Kevin Best (Melissa), Lorna Fraser (Roger Whidden), Kim Boyle (Tony) and Lloyd; his godchildren, Julie (Weldon), Jeffrey and Jillian (Carter); his great-niece Evelyn; and his great-nephews, Arthur and Winston.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, no public visitation will be held.
If so desired memorial contributions may be made to Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Margaret Griffin Mullen Scholarship at the UPEI School of Nursing.
