With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Bannerman Craig (Kensington, Prince Edward Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2024 at the age of 93. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leigh Craig and Marjorie Craig (Millar); his siblings, Millar Craig and Blanche MacLeod; and his siblings-in-law, Cecil MacLeod, Kenneth MacLeod, Roger MacArthur, Elmer Ramsay, Errol Moore, Catherine Grant (Monkley), Frank McCully, Ronald Leard, Willis MacLean and Allison Noye.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene (Monkley); his children, David (Helen), Donald (Cindy), Douglas (Nadia), Nancy, Lynne (Stephen) and Townsend; his grandchildren, Kimberly, Stephen, Daniel, William, Michael, Emily, Craig and Hannah; his sisters, Margaret MacArthur and Janelle Moore; and his sister-in-law Norma Ramsay. He is also survived by extended family with numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity United Church (90 Spring St, Summerside, PE C1N3E4). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at the same location.
