He was predeceased by: his wife Libby P. (Shuman); his son David Heaney; and his siblings, Kenneth Heaney and Jean MacCoubrey (Ian). He is survived by: his children, Bill, Krisann (Marcel) and Alex (Amanda); and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Heaney, Alan Shuman (Joyce) and David Shuman (Edyth). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
