With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace Helen Paynter Jay (Kensington, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on July 15, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Nicholson and Pauline Nicholson; her siblings, Christine Nicholson, Alexander Nicholson, William Nicholson (Madonna) and Annie Matheson (Alfred); and her daughter-in-law Isabel Paynter.

She is survived by: her children, Dianne Paynter, Alan Paynter (Sherry Gallant), Velda Paynter (Craig Parkin), Donna Clark (Lowell) and Brian Paynter; her grandchildren, Adam Paynter (Karen), Whitney Clark (Aaron Semaniuk), Denver Clark (Alysha), Mark Paynter (Chelsey McNevin), Justin Parkin, Roy Paynter and Gary Paynter; and her siblings, Marion Young (late Donald) and Bea Wood (Morley).
