She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Ellis; her son Dwayne Ellis; her siblings, Robert, Winston, Charles, Erwin, Alton, Wendell Bryanton and Altheia (Sutherland); her cousins, Verna Clark (Jim), Erma Adams, Vivian Burns and Elaine Cousins; and her brothers-in-law, Delmar Adams, Gerald Caseley and Bruce Coyle.

She is survived by: her children, Dena Ellis (John Paynter) and Darren Ellis (Dana Ellis); her grandchild Devin Ellis (Marcy); her siblings, Lois Caseley, Clifford Bryenton, Irene Gill (Doug), Bruce Bryenton and Carolyn Lanigan (Jim); and her siblings-in-law, Morris Burns, William Cousins, Joyce Bryenton, Janet Bryanton and Janette Bryanton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
