It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Ronahan (Kensington, Prince Edward Island), born in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett and Georgie (Huestis); his parents-in-law, William (Bud) and Mary Brander (MacRae); his brother Tom; his siblings-in-law, Winnifred Way (Brander) and Charles Brander (Bud); and his nephews, Garth Ronahan, TJ and Way.

He is survived by: his wife Jean (Brander); his children, Catherine, Bert (Maureen), Mark (Sarah Grace) and Kent (Lori); his grandchildren, Brendan, Colby, Parker, Shealyn, Jack, James, Josie and Kate MacDonald; his brother Ronald (Xin) of Dartmouth; his sister-in-law Ann Brander; and his nieces and nephews, Patty Champion Cookson (Stephen Cookson), Michelle Donovan-Ronahan, Trevor (Sarah), Pam (Derek Hilliard), Andrew (Leslie), Sarah Rogers (Justin) and Amanda Murphy (Ben). He is also survived by numerous grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.
