It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elwood T. Paynter (Kensington, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on November 11, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Paynter (MacMurdo); his son David; his parents, Truman Paynter and Annie Paynter (Andrews); and his siblings-in-law, Jean Hamilton, Kathie Rudderham, Allison MacMurdo and Forest Hamilton.
He is survived by: his close friend Isabel Palmer; his children, Fairlie McKnight (Stephen), Neil Paynter (Ambyr), Aileen Houston (Duncan) and Richard Paynter (Theresa); his daughter-in-law Sandra Paynter; and his brother-in-law Wilson Rudderham. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
