She was predeceased by: her mother Elaine (Bryanton); her husband Desmond; her brothers, Marvin Cousins, Garth Cousins and Delmar Cousins; her parents-in-law, Austin and Marion Hammill (Murphy); and her siblings-in-law, Leslie Hammill, Dianne Lutes, Peggy Hammill and Joyce.

She is survived by: her father William S. Cousins; her children, Ashley Hammill, D. L. Hammill and Katie Gallant Walsh; her godchild Courtney Hardiman Arsenault; her sister Darlene McDonald (Dave); her siblings-in-law, Betty Smith (Les), Paula Arsenault (Eric), Bernard Lutes, Bernadette Murnaghan (Alan), Doreen Hammill (Bob Seiler) and Corinne Meek (Steve); and also Dorothy Beairsto. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
